2009 Western States Seaplane Festival

The Western States Seaplane Festival will be presenting an outstanding event in 2009, and we hope you will be able to participate.

The Festival will build on the excellent reputation and our proven ability to deliver highly qualified, extremely targeted attendees and visitors. Our guest's enjoy three days filled will seaplane action and family fun.

We offer a selection of premium booth space, sponsorhips, and advertising opportunities that attract the best demographics from all parts of Northern California. We welcome corporate sponsorship of our aviation conferences and workshops.

Expected Attendance: 8,000. Attendance at the 2007 Seaplane Festival was estimated to be nearly 5,000 people. Our goal is to bring together seaplanes and aviation enthusiasts from across the western states. Festival '09 will offer a rich variety of activities, family fun, and, of course, excellent arts, crafts, and vendors.

The Western States Seaplane Festival attracts visitors with exellent up-scale demographics from all of northern California. Pilots fly into Lakeport from all of the western states, including Alaska, Washington and Oregon.

The Festival stands apart from the many other craft shows in the area with its high level vendor content and participation. Join the community of artists, crafts makers and photographers in sharing a weekend at the Lake and fresh ideas on ... and more.

The Kiwanis Club of Lakeport

The Club will once again host a pancake breakfast at the Western States Seaplane Festival to benefit their many charitable and scholarship activities. 2009 will mark the 20th annual presentation of their very successful and popular Memorial Day Crafts Fair and Breakfast. For details: Click here.

Festival Magazine

Festival '09 brings together a wide range of aircraft from the small homebuilds to the large flying boats of yore, in what has become a premier gathering for discussing the design, implementation, and implications of seaplane aviation. A total seaplane experience.

Notes

The Festival focuses on family and community. Items, stickers, or clothing displaying vulgar or caustic political or sexual language attacking or demeaning an individual or group will not be allowed. Any vendors selling items deemed inappropriate or illegal merchandise such as firearms, poppers, fireworks, silly string, knives, stink bombs, or drug paraphernalia, etc. will be asked to leave immediately and will not be invited to return to future Festivals.

Food booths must comply with Lake County Health Department regulations regarding food handling and sales. Vendors are responsible for securing this verification. To apply for a food permit, call (707) 263-1164.
